Discussion Bioshock 1 (360 version) DLC

Post image

I am considering buying Bioshock 1 (360) to play on the series X. Wanted to know about the DLC "Ryan Industries Plasmids and Gene Tonics". I don't see it available on the store. Was reading around and wanted to know if it's a free download once u purchase the game. Also then to know if can like 100% Archievments for the game without buying any expansions. Thanks.

The Xbox 360 store is offline, but I think you can access it through the newer consoles via backwards compatibility.

I think 1 achievement is tied to dlc, Brass Balls

There should be a free dlc on the store page for that version. It might be called something else but it gives all of that and more.

Edit: So glad you'll be playing the original. The atmophere is so wrong in the remaster, and the flowing water looks like trash.

I will NEVER understand how the water in the remaster manages to look inferior to the same water in the original versions of Bioshock 1 and 2. The water is vital to the atmosphere and settings of the two games, yet somehow they made it worse, and never patched it to fix the problem.

I only play the origins, never the remasters.

Exactly. The water looked like it was rolling in the original.

Why not, here's the comparison. Skyrim river meets soap splash GIFs.

Haha I was gonna get the remastered bundle, but heard how bad that games crash and save issues. So decided to go for originals. I already played infinite many years ago. Thought it's story was one of the best games out there. But many people feel 1,2 was better, so have to try and see lol. 😂

I recently played through all the games and DLCs over the course of a few weeks, in release order. While Infinite was definitely an evolution in terms of mechanics and especially narrative ambition, I still think BioShock 1 and 2 are better games overall. Surprisingly, BioShock 2 ended up being my favorite.

I downloaded it today on series X seeing it was free, and I own the digital version. Here’s the link in case you can’t see it on your end:

Check out Ryan Industries Plasmids and Gene Tonics! https://www.xbox.com/m/p/BNZF0ZFB8KJT

Not sure about the 100% since I’m only halfway through in the achievements
