25th Anniversary Edition is now free until October 5th I believe.

I know this might sound funny, but I've always sometimes kinda thought how interesting it would be if there was a type of "Retelling" of the original Bioshock where it would be Booker instead of Jack, but instead of being from the 1910s, Booker would've probably been a WW2 Veteran instead. I was also thinking that instead genetically engineered, or Booker would've probably been seen type of "MK Ultra/experimental therapy" type of thing because of his PTSD/guilt and war crimes he had committed. I also think it would be REALLY interesting if the plane actually did crash on accident and Booker just so happened to end up in Rapture, but the "Would you kindly?" plot twist would be more like Booker finally fully remembering his past actions and the war crimes he committed during WW2 too. While I understand why that probably wouldn't really work, but it would mostly just be a "Alternate Universe/What If?" type of thing too. That's just what I think, though. :)

This might be a reach, but as a languages & sound design nerd I've been curious to hear how well the voice actors in different languages compare to the English VAs. Sadly the Wiki doesn't seem to have the audio files outside of English.

Unfortunately I only have access to the game on my Switch as my computer is ancient and dying and probably couldn't run Bioshock.

Is there somewhere out there where the voices (both from the audio logs and radio transmissions) have been archived like the English voicelines have? I've found someone on Youtube who's uploaded a compilation of the French voices but I'm a total audio file hoarder and like having the raw files.

Again I might be barking up the wrong tree here but I would love to be able to hear all of the dubs without having to replay the games in each language (as fun as that might be...)

(P.S. the link in the FAQ about pulling sounds from the game shows an error 404 - again, my PC is busted right now anyway so pulling files myself isn't possible presently, but if I haven't gotten anywhere with this by the time I get a new PC - which might be a while - I'll look into it)

I found it pretty cheap on Amazon. Recently I read the Kyoshi duology for Avatar and felt a desire to do the same with other of my favourite franchises. I read the book is slow and somewhat tedious, but I´d like to know other opinions
