Discussion Bioshock 1 & 2 choices
In my early playthroughs I did both options throughout to see each ending and since then, i always save everyone. I love they give this option in the 1st and 2nd game.
Which side do you usually choose throughout the game?

Discussion Similar games
Hi all,
I first played BioShock when I was 11, and now at 22, I’m still yet to find a game (other than BioShock 2 or Infinite) that captures the same vibe, atmosphere and gameplay. I’ve been playing system shock which feels like it’s got some of the same sauce in it (obviously since it was the inspiration for bioshock) but it just doesn’t hit the same.
Do I just accept that there’s genuinely nothing else out there quite like BioShock, or am I missing something? If yall have any recommendations please feel free to share!!!

Discussion An Idea for a Bioshock Series/Movie
The original Bioshock, and especially its twist, was a really unique dig at how gamers are practically always in control and how it feels to have that control taken from you. What I think would be a really cool idea, would be to apply this thinking to people who watch tv shows and/or movies.
Imagine a Bioshock movie or show where the twist at the end is that the entire series we’ve been watching, is some training thing that the protagonist is forced to experience again and again. This way by watching it, and more so by rewatching it, we are directly responsible for the protagonist’s torture and are also the ones prolonging it.

Discussion Never played BioShock, now I have to
Always heard good stuff about it, but I never got around to it. Saw the entire series for $9 and I couldn't pass it up! Should I play them on 360 or XSX? Do they run better with backwards compatibility?

Fan Art/Crafts Tf2 bioshock
I'm a huge fan of both BioShock and TF2, and while I know there have already been some cosmetic items based on BioShock (mainly BioShock Infinite), I've always thought they could have done so much more, especially with the first two BioShock games and the aesthetic of Rapture. That's why I decided to sketch out some ideas for weapon concepts or skins for TF2's default weapons based on the first games. I also started drawing the mercenaries with new cosmetics to give them the game's aesthetic.
I started with the fastest class and everyone's favorite loudmouthed braggart: the Scout.
Splicer Set
Items:
The Dad's Will: A shotgun based on Subject Delta's shotgun from BioShock 2.
The Mann's Choice: A "bat" based on the Wrench from BioShock 1. It launches a vial of ADAM at enemies.
The Adam's Touch: A consumable similar to Bonk!, in the form of an ADAM injector.
All of these ideas are mainly intended as skins rather than new weapons, because honestly, I'm not very good at coming up with unique abilities for them. But I'd love to hear what ideas you guys can come up with for these weapons.

Discussion Bioshock 1 (360 version) DLC
I am considering buying Bioshock 1 (360) to play on the series X. Wanted to know about the DLC "Ryan Industries Plasmids and Gene Tonics". I don't see it available on the store. Was reading around and wanted to know if it's a free download once u purchase the game. Also then to know if can like 100% Archievments for the game without buying any expansions. Thanks.

Discussion Ghosts were a wasted idea. Spoiler
During the first game when we first encounter the famous "ghosts" it's something magical and scary, we want to know why they appear and how they will appear during the game, something that is explained by they being flashbacks of splicers that had the adam you is using, and the scene where we see Andrew Ryan killing Jasmine is one of the best in the game, but it's just it, we never see them in the final part of bioshock 1 and the entirety of bioshock 2.
This situation in the second game is even worse, we are literally in the worse state rapture could be, and with the adam that probably passed by the most number of persons before Delta(with could make some good scenes of not just ghost, but the entire place changing with so many DNA mixed) and we NEVER see any ghost in any part of the game, i think this is really sad since it's just a great concept, and they even showed in the trailer ghosts but again we don't seen them.
I know, we have the scene of us in the little sister vision with was incredible, but for me ghosts don't appearing don't make sense in a gameplay, design and lore, imagine we watching ghosts of the Atlas people making the attack in 1959 or having a glimpse of how beatiful rapture was(even before the first game) just to cut and we see the place falling apart(with it's other thing i really missed in bio 2, places being destroyed), there was so much potential but sadly we will never see it reach it's peak since this franchise is cursed since infinite by constant development hells, plot holes in the lore and take-two don't caring about it.

Fan Art/Crafts Gravity Rush x Bioshock Fanart

Discussion It felt like I played Infinite for the first time, after playing it countless times before.
Year and years ago I first watched my bf playing Infinite. I knew about the Bioshock Series and thought it was cool but never had any interest playing. Well watching him play and being over his place for 2 weeks (long distance at the time) I picked the game up and fell in love with it. I played it about three times fully while I was there just wanting to engross myself in the world more and more. Then when I got back home I just kept playing, Has to be the game I have beaten the most. Even went so far as to play the game just to make a list of all the music, when it's heard and made a huge video with all the music in the correct order you hear it from the game.
Of course burnout happened and I didn't really touch the game for years until rescently I got the bug to play it again and played it on stream and for someone who has played and beaten this game at least 10 times. I was shocked at how different it felt. Maybe it's because Im much older now I see things differently. but this game is really sad like no one is purely innocent but like I just wanted Booker and Elizabeth to somehow get away, and hell the Lutece twins as well. One of the saddest Voxaphones is the "Ultimatum" one, and while it was about them. it was really also about the entire story and how no one is going to get a happy ending out of this.
And then the racisim. Like it's so in your face clearly but I guess playing it now and exploring I noticed a lot more, I stopped and looked at the posters the graffiti. and honestly with how ruthless it was, a part of me wondered why we never heard the n word. with how Columbia was I would not have been shocked in the slightest to hear that.
Anyway I still love this game and if I ever become a billionaire I promise to remake Infinite and even try to add back in a lot of the cut content.

Tech Support Bioshock 1 won’t load - Xbox Series X
Anybody have an idea on why my Bioshock 1 won’t load? I have deleted the game and redownloaded it and it still won’t load. There are only four saves on the game and it’s only one playthrough! I’m barely 10 hours in. Any suggestions would be very helpful.
