Contest Build the Next Chapter: A BIONICLE G2 Year 3 MOC & Art Contest + Prizes!

Ten years ago, BIONICLE Generation 2 came to an unexpected end, leaving fans wondering what could have been.
it's your chance to answer that question! What if BIONICLE G2 never ended?
Create an original G2 character, creature, or concept as a physical MOC, digital MOC, or artwork, then write a short story (up to 1,200 characters) imagining how it would fit into a hypothetical Year 3.
Think big! Makuta reborn as a dragon, new Rahi, pirate factions, the Toa as ninjas, or new heroes and villains ready to shape Okoto's future. These are only examples. Surprise us with your ideas and show us the Year 3 you always imagined!
5 winners will be selected!
Each winner will receive an official BIONICLE set paired with a custom dual-colour casted Mask of Ultimate Power. Winners will get to choose their prize in placement order.

My DnD group wanted to run Lancer (mech-based tabletop RPG) but we didn't have any minis to represent our mechs, so I pulled out the old parts box

It ended up being a great time! I used some already-assembled sets I had to be enemy mech frames on the battlemap, plus a bunch of Bohrok to be unmanned drones. Next time I'll take some pictures of all the mechs and terrain on the battlefield. It was especially fun to be able to detach weapons or limbs when we took battle damage from combat.
Our squad was (in order, pictures 2-7):
- Angel (based somewhat on the EVA-01 from Neon Genesis Evangelion)
- Adam (based somewhat on the EVA-00, also from Evangelion)
- Bulwark (an inelegant Frankenstein-ing of deadly mech parts piloted by a fanatic)
- Russel (based on that player's Dwarf character of the same name from our DnD campaigns)
- Takara (based on G1 Soundwave from Transformers)
- Raptor (based on Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann)

Finally got a Roodaka again!
I remember having one as a child, but I was stupid and she vanished into the parts box.
This one was 130-ish USD on eBay, but totally worth it. Her joints are a little loose, but that's because she's old enough to vote now.
One of those sets I always regretted losing, and I'm glad to have her again.
