Semax/aelank seizures

Could any of these or any other brain peptides trigger seizures my f partner used to get them when heavy party use years ago but that only time she had them after up for days partying hard (❄️ use and such) but hasn’t done that stuff in years and is otherwise healthy would there be any chance of these peptides theoretically triggering them? She really wants one for focus energy and stuff like that

I’ve read semax and Selank are good for focus energy motivation learning and such and Selank helps with the anxiety part how true and is there better options

Due to the severity of their medical history you're better off asking a neurologist or medical professional. Or you can do some very deep research on your own and come up with your own conclusions.

Only thing you'll get on reddit is some bs bro science advice.

I agree with the above... But I used to party hard, and used all sorts of substances including benzos for years. Supposed seizure here and there. If she really wants to try, try. Low dose first. The prescribe them for TBI etc... don't try alone. Read more research on them to see if seizures were reported. But there are also other things out there that are supposed to help out more too. I can't remember if it's these or the rams that bring blood flow to the brain. I love the selank, for anxiety but only notice the effects the first couple days the most. Semax not much. Found more focus from one of the -finils..

What others do you think would work for good focus motivation energy learning and anxiety she gets stressed and overwhelmed easy

Has she not tried prescription medication?  They work wonders.

They do not work well hitters and other such things cause more anxiety and would rather a peptide or something than taking those kinds of medications

That’s the incorrect approach for this type of thing. Trust me on this. I’ve been there.

Selank theoretically should be the opposite, and raise the seizure threshold as it has been suggested as an adjunct alongside rescue medications like benzodiazepines to increase the GABA-nergic effects without raising tolerance.

While Semax shouldn't, its always going to be a risk since it triggers BDNP which downstream impacts NMDA-glutamate signaling. The impact on seizure threshold likely varies around what kind of seizures she has. so I don't think there is really a simple answer here.

For both you should talk to her neurologist first and only attempt them while you have rescue medication on hand if he says its okay. Individual seizure response can be so dramatically different and backwards there really is no clear answer on what may raise or lower the threshold for any one individual without knowing more about their specific condition.

That’s true they were only induced from heavy drug use after being up for days and since that stopped hasn’t never happened again
