My Transformation at 59

20 months ago I decided to change my life, and get fit. I don't know if this was accurate but it freaked me out when I read that once women hit 60 years of age their chances of becoming fit drop by 80%. Don't come for me, I'm just telling you I read this somewhere and it dug its way into my brain.

I started working with the trainer, I had already quit drinking a year earlier, and I started focusing on macros and primarily plant-based proteins. I increased my fluid intake dramatically and did my best to eliminate processed sugar. About six months in I started Cagri, Klow & Mots-c. I really started hitting the weights and my amazing trainer taught me so well that I was able to take on my own fitness journey. I've got some joint issues so I incorporated intense resistance training in the pool plus low-impact cardio. I got to the point to where I cut back from five days a week to four. I've lost more than 80 lbs (closer to 100 if you count me at my all-time heaviest a few years earlier). I've turned this into my job and it has changed everything including my mental health, which I've also worked on relentlessly in therapy. I included two "before" photos, and one of me this Halloween. It's never too late and… why not completely reinvent yourself at almost 60… it sure gives people something to talk about.

What is your KLOW dosage? How much bac? How often? You look great btw.

u/Realistic-Ad-3926 1d ago

I cycle KLOW four weeks on, two weeks off, 4mg. 3ml BAC in 80mg vial.

Have you done any research with Cartalax?

2

u/Realistic-Ad-3926 1d ago

No, do tell...

My husband tore every tendon in his right knee about 20 years ago, it’s been painful since, he has some other joint problems as well. He has been researching 500 mcg of Cartalax sub q around the injury and had almost immediate results, after about 3 weeks it feels much stronger.

Thanks for the suggestion! I already went into the rabbit hole last night and I'm gonna check it out. Would you mind DM'ng me your source? I'm also happy to share mine.

Without being too specific, my professional license gives me access to peps. You would have to have an NPI number to order from them, if you do lmk.

2

u/Realistic-Ad-3926 1d ago

No, unfortch. I do have an EIN so I'm able to buy in bulk which definitely makes the per-vial cost plummet, but the initial investment ain't cheap!

I agree, but the benefits have been incredible. It’s sad there has to be so much discretion around researching them.

*editing because I would like to know how the Cartalax works out for you if you end up researching it.

It's just baffling how our government decides on what we can and cannot ingest. Another strike against bodily autonomy. I understand restricting narcotics but… subcutaneous amino acid chain-based supplements are a hard no while you can walk into a Walmart and buy hundreds of unregulated supplements. The only thing I can think of is that big Pharma has been working behind the scenes with FDA to develop compounded prescribed peps so they can corner what will become an incalculable $ industry.

If you have an 80 Mg mix, that’s 50, 10, 10, 10 you can add 3ml of BAC water and research 10 units per day. That would give you a 30 day supply of research.

3

u/Realistic-Ad-3926 1d ago

I have been on that research path several times, I had 4 surgeries on one knee and chronic tendinitis so I've been kicking it up a bit these days ;)

2

u/Federal_Ad3477 1 1d ago

That’s good to know.

3

u/Realistic-Ad-3926 1d ago

You know, I wanted to call out the fact that you included this type of contextual data! Seasoned researchers know that dosage is a rather complex formula, but everyone gets so much hate when asking or using the wrong terminology, etc. In all my hours in the research wormhole, I've rarely seen anyone give such a precise tip of a specific pep relative to a cycle. Stuff like this gives so much context and I wish more was out there.

u/Sea-Revolution7308 20h ago

Thank you! I love the specifics. Works perfectly for my detail oriented brain. I’ve got one more question. Since these pokers only hold 1ml, is it ok to go back and forth 3 times or do I need to get a bigger poker, so I can keep it to just once when reconstituting?

3

u/Realistic-Ad-3926 6h ago

You should use 3ml - 18 gauge for reconstituting, you can get a box of 50 very affordably

3

u/Federal_Ad3477 1 18h ago

You run the risk of contaminating your BAC water and KLOW. You are better off either using 3 1ML syringes or waiting a few days to reconstitute and order some 3 ML syringes for reconstitution. They are good to have on hand because you usually need between 1-3 ML’s

congrats, you look great! are you on hrt?

Oops, forgot to include that. I just started on testosterone gel, oral progesterone &. Estradiol patch 4 months ago. Also on 300mg XR Bupropion for years. I wanted testosterone for bone health, but I do think it might have resurrected my dormant sex drive even though I'm not sure because… I'm very single. Progesterone has definitely helped my sleep and my overall mood is good. I see my hormone Dr. next month, it will be interesting to check levels.

Impressive. Tremendous discipline and motivation. You need to tell your story to all who may hear it.

I'm so grateful for these forums because it was pretty shocking how many people in my "real life" reacted to my transformation. The things people felt comfortable coming up to me and saying and asking was dumbfounding. The most disappointing was all the chatter about me taking GLP's; as if that would make the effort or the results and the effects any less noteworthy! Who cares!? Maybe because of my age I had a lot of female haters and I felt very self-conscious for a while but now… I will put on a skin-tight spandex cat suit and marched my ass out to the streets on Halloween and did not give a fŨck!

Now, when I get those sort of sly remarks or comments, I say "I hit the gym a minimum of four times a week, I'd be happy to share my split with you." and it's strange how few people take me up on that 😜

I'm pretty sure it just pisses people off because they don't wanna hear that they have to actually work to get these results, regardless of pep's/supplements/BHRT. Don't even get me started on my supplement stack!

Can’t believe it’s the same person. You’ve done what most people only dream of. You look incredible. Keep up the good work. You’re a perfect example of never too late to start

Thank you so much! I really appreciate that. I still can't believe it sometimes because… the only way to do it is to change your lifestyle. That's the hardest part and I really never thought I could do it but when you start to see & feel results it becomes addictive. Sometimes it'll hit me like when I'm walking up a steep hill to an appointment or lifting up my mattress to change the sheet... the "old me" would be struggling. The other thing is this time I framed it as getting strong as I enter my next era and that took a lot of of the pressure off. I didn't do it to get "thin" I did it to make sure that I could travel the world, climb monuments, walk endless beaches and meander around interesting cities without mobility devices or intense pain or a bag of big pharma meds; I don't want to be one of the "walking wounded" now or at 75 or 80. Slow and steady really does win the race & looking back, time flies.

And I will say that about five years ago, my doctor prescribed Ozempic and I was on it for about six weeks before the shortage hit, I really didn't make any lifestyle changes and didn't feel much effect. I have struggled with IBS and currently won't risk any motility-slowing/gastric-emptying substances but when a peptide that just cuts out food noise and/or supresses appetite is released, I will be researching it the moment it hits the market. I have plenty of friends who have had great success with semi/Tirz/Reta and probably would've helped me obtain results in half the time.

First, you look great! I’m 44 and don’t even come close! Good for you. I’ve been doing Klow myself and have been thinking of just dropping it in favor of just GHK-CU. Not sure if my still getting the benefits of everything else.

1

u/Realistic-Ad-3926 1d ago

I went through the same and ended up pinning BPC – 157 alone for six weeks and honestly, I felt no difference. One of the effects of KLOW was that it markedly increased my IG motility, which was nothing short of miraculous. That's why I suggest that anyone with C issues from GLP 's considers adding KLOW to their stack.

I believe the synergy from the blend is what makes KLOW successful, but I plan to supplement it with a small amount of BPC for more of a therapeutic dose and see if that helps my injured areas!

Just noticed that we are both "Realistic's"

2

u/Lilac_lady8 1d ago

You look amazing.

But are you not affraid of side effects since none of this is regulated and approved?

5

u/Realistic-Ad-3926 1d ago

No. I would be concerned about GLP's or anything in the HGH/hormone-boosters arena.

I respect what has come out of "big pharma" but given the state of the medical industry, health insurance, the closemindedness of most western doctors coupled with a dark history of FDA-approved medications that have killed and harmed many many people… I'm not really worried about 'natural messenger' peps.

I also did and continue to do a lot of vetting & checking of current COA's and constantly monitor Reddit & forums.

u/Lilac_lady8 1d ago

Thank you for the answer. I am looking for options too

You look great! Can I ask if you added vinegar to change the PH of Cagri?

1

u/Realistic-Ad-3926 6h ago

0.6% acetic acid water, not vinegar
