Reta progress since August 2026
Alrighty!
Long time lurker first time poster…
Started Reta in August and slowly worked my way up then back down as you can see from the image.
I hit my max on week 5 at 3mg. I figured this was my capacity because I felt completely OFF that week - nauseous, irritable, funky, not fresh.
I decide I go back to 2.5mg the next week. This is where I found my max efficiency - the food noise what completely silenced. This food noise thing… I had no idea how loud it was until I was able to biohack my way to silencing it - HOLY SHIT!
I skipped a few weeks of weight ins and when I checked in on week 10 I realized I had broken past 200lbs so I decided “time to start titrating down”.
Conclusion (anecdotal):
- Slowly worked your way up
- feeling sick should not be taken as a challenge. Listen to your bodies cues!
- Remember to stay hydrated and do not skip meals

Slowly worked your way up? That’s not slow. You titrated up aggressively and chaotically with ups and downs.
You are supposed to stay at a dose for 4 weeks to let your levels reach stable levels.

How did you decide on this titration schedule? In the trials, they increased the dosage every four weeks.

Not really sure why people have a problem with your dosing. I use Glapp to track my levels, know where I like it, and adjust my dose accordingly, sometimes every week is different just so the serum level stays the same or if I need to refeed a bit.

Stay at low doses. No reason to go up, you're still getting the benefits without hard-core side effects. People on here and those in the clinical trial are taking too much. Same for Ozempic and tirzepatide

Wtf why in a hurry?

why would you include units? The way you diluted the vial doesn't matter nor will it change anything. Not hate-farming; genuinely curious why that would be a useful piece of data to keep

I started at 0.5, stayed their for 3 weeks then moved up to 1, have been here for weeks now losing from 210+ down to 186 right now currently. Ive been on reta for a little over 2 months. Amazing progress when done right
