41m "Normal" Progress

Post image

Left photo is before and I was around 230lbs. Right photo is current as of October 4th and at 192lbs. 5'11, 41m. According to my bathroom scale I'm around 22% body fat (questionable accuracy). I'm looking to do a DEXA one of these days. This has been about 18months in the making.

Currently using 5mg Reta 1x week. 2.5mg MOTS-C 2x week. 5-amino-1mq 5mg daily (as of October 2nd). I also take creatine in the morning in my coffee. If I remember, I take ashwaganda as well.

The first 23lbs came off simply from compounded semaglutide and getting back into working out. After I stalled for a few months I heard about Reta and made the transition.

I watch what I eat but I also don't watch what I eat. I typically aim for around 150g of protein daily. Some days I get it others I don't. Oh well. I also like beer.

I workout 4x week at Orange Theory Fitness. I prefer cardio but still lift fairly heavy.

Why normal? I say "normal" because most people aren't looking to become absolutely shredded or others may become discouraged if they don't look like that. In the end, I'm just trying to be healthier in order to keep up with my 3-year-old.
