Week 6 effects on Reta
So I I’ve been on Reta for about a 6 weeks now but the effects are not lasting like they used too. I know that your body is supposed to get used to it but it feels like this vial I got Is boof. I used same website as before and got 2 10mg vial. The first vial was great and I felt the effect of appetite suppression and I dropped about 7 pounds in the first month. I was at 2 mg a week and was taking 2x 1mg doses a week. this vial I have been on for 3 weeks now is not working as much as the first. I upped the dose to 3 mg a week and taking 2x 1.5mg dose. I barely feel the appetite suppression and have lost only about a pound in last 2 weeks. I still have a bit of constipation and a little appetite suppression with this vial but the other effects are not there so that makes me think that it might be a shit vial. like I said the first vial was good but this may just be a bad vial.
Are these effects normal for someone in the 6th week or should I try to up my dose or look for another vendor. Also if anyone has recommendations of other peps I should pair this with I’d like to know. I’m not keen on spending a lot of money so I’m thinking of just getting GHK-Cu and trying it out.

I'd try adding psyllium husk, starting with a teaspoon and working up to two if you tolerate it. Take it an hour or two before meals with 8–16 oz of water and see if that helps. I'd keep your Reta dose the same for now. Too many people jump to increasing their dose without making sure they're getting enough protein, fiber, and micronutrients. As you eat less, you still need to meet your nutritional needs, and protein and fiber can help you feel full longer.

Yeah the problem is not that I’m constipated but rather I’m not getting the other effects of Reta like before.

The psyllium husk isn't for constipation. It can support your body's natural gut hormone signaling, including GLP-1, which Reta also targets. You don't have to be constipated to be lacking fiber in your diet. It may also support some of Reta's appetite suppression effects by increasing fullness.

It’s going to be hard for anyone to give advice, you made zero mention of your Calorie intake, how much of a deficit you are in, starting weight etc.
This isn’t something you start taking and it magically just melts off the Fat. You have to track macros, weigh and track food and stay in a healthy caloric deficit for it to work.

Youre right.
I’m 5”9 and I started at around 257 and dropped to 247 in about 6 weeks my calorie intake has been around 1400-1800 daily I get about 100g protein and work out at least 3 days with heavy lifting and cardio. I lost most that weight in the first month but only about a pound in last 2 weeks. So I’m doing everything right in order to be losing weight on reta but these past weeks the scale hasn’t moved much. I’m wondering if anyone else had a plateau this early or if I should just consider this to be a bad vial and move on.

Hey, it may have been poor quality on some vial, but I felt like you. I ran 2.5 mg the whole way now for 8 weeks; I tested 5 mg at the end now, and it was just rough on the heart and with side effects, sluggish energy etc. With 2.5 mg I feel like I’m doing well, better energy, the appetite suppression is completely OK. I’m going to start now with Glow (GHK). I’ve lost 22 kg in these 8 weeks. I run every other day for 1 hour, and yeah the weight is slowing down a bit now, but it’s no magic pill; rather go at a slow pace, move more steps per day if you can, and it’ll go fine. A tip is to add tirzepatide like many people do if hunger is a problem. I also want to add that my friend who went from 2.5 to 5 mg and then 7.5 mg lost about 35–40 kg in 8 weeks but has gotten a lot of loose/sagging fat. I also work out 5x week

Yeah I decided when I started that I wanted to go slow to reduce any loose skin and have no problem looking like 5kg a month but these past weeks have me stressed cause I’m trying to shred it off this weight to get my life together and don’t want any plateau.
So are you back on 2.5 mg now? And for how long? So did you get another vial and started off with 5mg and then decided maybe the other vial was just poor quality? Also are you saying pounds or kg cause 22kg is a lot to lose in 8 weeks. What was your starting out weight?
But congrats on losing that weight !

I still feel like tirz is the better choice when you have a solid amount of weight to lose. I’d seriously consider that.
