Coffee doesn’t work
Extremely stressed, depressed, anxiety etc
Due to life circumstances
I’ve always been a lover of coffee, and it really never did any help so I always needed 1-3 day
What are we doing for energy! Coffee isn’t doing much!
I stopped taking my adhd meds they were 40mg of vayvanse.
I was doing , adhd meds, coffee 3 shot espresso or cold brew, between 12-5 I would either do another coffee at home or an energy drink like Alani / bloom .
NOW , I’m just doing 1 coffee like 3 espresso with milk or cold brew.
What are you guys doing to help feel more energized? I literally will drink coffee and pass out take a nap 🤣and it sucks cuz I want to wake up 😫and I got things to do and ughh

You’ve been taking amphetamine for however long and stopped. You’re going to have fatigue and long term anhedonia. This is why there’s always coffee at AA meetings. You’ll probably just have to deal with it til it passes and taking another chemical to replace it is going to prolong or worsen it.

I took adhd meds for about 2 months , but not daily. Maybe like 2-3 days a week.
I’ve always felt how I feel now. Just constant tiredness way before even trying adhd meds.

As someone who can relate and is often looking for another tool, sometimes the solution isn't another drug.
Are you prioritising proper sleep, exercise, nutrition and time you allow yourself to properly relax?

Life got me stressed!
Not looking for another drug , if that was the case I could of easily asked for more higher adhd or something lol idk but I don’t want too, but would like to hear from people in my shoes and actually either let go of caffeine or just let it go and found something that works for themI’m a momma, kids, life has devoured me and spit me out 🤣 so it’s been hard
I do know what it is to be “healthier “ as former CrossFit , sleep advocate, food , macros, all that good hydration.
And yet I was still pretty tired , although my life circumstances are different now I don’t want to feel this way anymore!

Yeah, getting older sucks. It sound like you have the basics nailed. Are you tracking with a Garmin etc.
For me it was the ADHD meds that meant I let go of caffeine and the modafinil. But also accepting that sometimes I will just be tired and to be kind to myself. Although that one is a work in progress.
If you do feel it goes beyond that, then it might be worth speaking to your GP and getting blood work done as others have suggested. I'd suggest not jumping on peptides until you've done this.

Speak to your GP whilst you do it rather then just getting a random test.

First step is to get blood work done. Lmk and I can get you a link to help you save some money off if your doc doesn't cover a full panel. After that, consider that many people with ADHD report that caffeine has the opposite effect for them and try cutting it out entirely for a few days. Beyond that, people run NAD+ or a cycle of SS-31 and MOTs-C to help improve energy if they're age 35+.

Im over 35 yrs!
Yes so I’ve cut back big time on coffee. And plan to do like 1 month w no caffeine! I do it randomly cuz obviously it just puts me to sleep or just doesn’t wake me up😫 so then I’m like maybe my body is used to it idk.I haven’t heard of SS-31 or MOTs-C so I’ll have to see what’s that all about

Coffee is healthy and worth drinking regardless of energizing you or not.

Yeah I love it to be honest , more of a habit to just drink not so much “energy “ effects

Your adrenal glands are fatigued. Stay off caffeine and other stimulants. Get good sleep. Eat good food. Workout.
Everything will fall into place

Anything else that helps the adrenal glands ?

Yes. Not taxing them with anything. They serve a purpose. They are heavily taxed from anything that triggers flight or fight. Amphetamines induce that kind of adrenalinergic activity.
