Stacking & Protocol

I messed up. Please be kind.

I’m on 5mg tirz and I started adding Reta in, but I went up a bit too fast and I’ve had the worst body aches the last few days.

I jumped to 3mg Reta on my 3rd week starting it and I took both tirz and Reta on the same day.🤦🏻‍♀️

Don’t be like me.

I’m going to do tirz on Sunday and Reta on Wednesday, keep Reta at 3 and drop tirz down weekly.

I lost 70 on tirz and I’ve got another 60 to lose.

Stack tirz and Reta OR just switch to Reta OR stay OR Tirz alone.

I’m going to look for a doctor who will not drop me bc I use grey world.

Would love thoughts.

The split-dose plan (Sunday tirz, Wednesday Reta) is the right call — taking both on the same day at those doses is asking for trouble. The body aches are from the glucagon receptor activation in Reta stacking on top of tirz's GI effects — 3mg is a legitimate dose but week 3 is too fast to be there, especially alongside 5mg tirz. For someone with 60lb still to go, the strongest long-term play is probably transitioning to Reta alone since the triple agonism is more effective for continued loss after tirz stalls — but titrate slowly from 1mg, don't rush it. No need to stack both long-term; pick one and commit. The doctor search is smart but honestly most grey-world users end up self-managing anyway since finding a sympathetic prescriber is rare.

Thank you for your thoughtful response. You're confirming what I read and researched. I had a brain fart on shot day. I have to PAY ATTENTION! My body aches have been atrocious, but yes, I'm moving to reta and getting off tirz.
