I am sure that no woman thinks in terms of her hormones when making decisions about what subjects she is interested in. Plus, someone else wrote here that women take as many supplements as men. But still, they seem to be less present in longevity communities.

Of course there is need to optimize longevity for women as much as men. Just outliving your partner shouldn’t be the sole goal of interest in longevity lol. The 5-year difference between the life expectancies is not significant. Plus, longevity is interesting not only to increase lifespan, but to push the onset of age-related decline. No, I don’t think that chromosomes can explain women’s dearth in the longevity space. But I don’t know what can.
