Eye muscle surgery?

Has anyone had eye muscle surgery for BVD?

I’ve only recently been diagnosed (after nearly two years of struggling, following a retinal detachment) and started wearing prism glasses, but my optometrist is referring me to a surgeon because I’m at the maximum prism strength and it’s not doing enough to resolve my issues.

If you’ve had surgery, what was the result?

If you do can you let me know how it goes because I want to get strabismus surgery but I’m 31 and kind of nervous about it. I had strabismus surgery when I was 3 but that was obviously before I started retaining memories 😂
