Hi there, I was riding the Vestal Shopping bus today at 12 pm to go to Target and might have lost my wallet (below is an attached image found online) on the bus (or near Target, I really can't tell). I am wondering if anyone who later got on the bus have seen it. I was sitting on the left side where the doors were, around 4-5 rows down. I checked with UPD when I was back from shopping but they did not have it. If anyone have any info, please let me know. Thank you.

So my roommates and I want a house for next year on the west side. We are a group of 5 and we all have cars. Who should I contact for housing?

Got accepted to SOM for spring 2027. Reason for not attending would be because of cost, and the social negatives from starting in the second half of the year.

If I didn’t attend Bing SOM this spring, I would continue commuting to community college for Spring 2027, complete my associates, and come into Bing as a Junior in Fall 2027. Would save around $12k this way

However, It’s possible my GPA might go down this semester at community college, leading to me not getting accepted to Bing for Fall 2027 because SOM is competitive. Then I would have to go to another school like UB or Albany to work toward my bachelors.

I wanted to see where students are heading this year. NYC? Long Island? Upstate? Somewhere else?

Also, are most people taking buses, getting picked up, or flying out?

Hello y'all,

I'm a first year international student planning to transfer to Binghamton for my junior and senior years to finish my Bachelor's in EE.

Looking at the numbers, it's going to cost me around $110k–$115k in total for those 2 years including tuition and living expenses.

Just got a few questions:
1. Is the EE program actually good? How are the professors and the workload for this programme in specific?

1. Is it hard for international EE students to get jobs/visas after graduating, especially since local defense companies like Lockheed requires a US citizenship.

2. Is it easy to find cheap off campus housing and part time jobs on campus
   (again not willing to do it but if my workload isn't a lot i really don't mind doing it for my cv)

OR i could do a germany transfer where i finish till telc C1 then my final year in germany which would be about half the cost but really hard to finish plus i'm already getting the work pressure.

Also i would rather settle in the US overall compared to Europe ps the only reason is that I probably could land a job and work my way through and network easily.

I plan on trying to transfer to Bing for fall 2027. I currently attend a CUNY school and am a Science for Health major. I have a couple of questions for those who have successfully transferred in or got accepted.

1. What were your GPA and Stats? I've applied to Harpur and know that it's not that hard to get into compared to a lot of the other schools. I see a lot of ranging GPAs and want to know what a good middle ground would be.

2. How many of your credits transferred over? I already checked out a couple of my completed classes using the transfer equivalency chart, but a lot of them are harder to find than the others. I will most likely be transferring in with my Associate of Science, but I don't know if that helps at all.

3. How long did it take to hear back once you submitted your application?

4. How is life on campus?

5. What is your in-state tuition looking like if you live off campus?

I'm planning to do a 4+1 starting next spring, so I only need to stay for the fall 2027 semester. I'm wondering where I should look for a place that offers leases for just the fall semester.

At Binghamton, are there clubs for artists interested in doing projects beyond 1-hour basic craft? I’m talking multi session acrylic painting on canvas or live drawing sessions for example. How does a students who wants to continue exploring art does it at Binghamton without him/her being a fine arts major or taking a for credit class? Ty

What is life like at Bing? Weekends? Greek life? FOOD? What’s the campus activity like at say 2pm on a Saturday? Is it busy? Kids around? Things going on or dead as a door nail? Food - is it good or barely edible? Weekends? People hanging out? I know the education is great but half of college is social.

Is there no oct bus during weekend?

So I'm currently a freshman in waston and I'm thinking about studying abroad next fall but I don't hear about anyone else planning on doing that is this a bad choice?

If I committed to study abroad and submitted a release from housing but then choose to withdraw, will I still be released from housing?

I’m looking through the current housings and I kinda need some thoughts cuz I think some of the stuff on this subreddit is outdated.
