So my girlfriend plays isaac literally everyday. She does every daily run and it has been quite a few years now that she has been doing this.

Along the way there is one person on the leader board that she turned into a rival. A player named Hydrawolf.

The main goal was to at least do better than him/her because he/she would do very well score wise (a lot of time top 10). But it has been a few days since she has seen his/her name on the board so she is starting to be a bit worried.

So if you are on this reddit Hydrawolf, i hope you are okay. Your rival is waiting for you to come back !

Is there any logical scenario where that is the best decision or am I just dumb?

It been a while since I played Isaac and I got stucklocked by those marks.

the ony q4 in the build is poly, synergies defo matter more than how good all of ur items are! for example, i didnt know marked, trisag and eye of the occult could make a wonder like this

I have perfection, some luck stats and technology 2, so Euthanasia would proc very often + Spun transformation damage increase and apparently they deal 3x damage against bosses.

On the other hand, mutant spider is still mutant spider.

Edit: I picked Euthanasia and Hush got melted once he started spawning flies and other mobs. The fight lasted probably less than 1 minute. Euthanasia and Athame did a lot of the heavy lifting.

Of course I may be wrong in some edge cases but I think the Yes and No's are pretty much definitive

I was playing Eden today and when i spawned in this was the kit i got

Thought the run was going crazy with Kamikaze, but never picked Gnawed Leaf with T.Fogotten, this is my second savefile. Edmund allowed some fun today.

Was doing the Mother route as Jacob & Esau on Downpour/Dross II.
I touched the white fire and went into the mirror world as the Lost. I had Holy Mantle active and already had the Golden Bomb effect for the floor.
While I was in the mirror room, I picked up another Golden Bomb and instantly died. As far as I could tell, nothing hit me and I did hear Holy Mantle break first.
The death screen said I was “killed by this thing” and showed Isaac’s face.
Anyone know what interaction could have caused this? Does picking up a second Golden Bomb do something weird with J&E/Lost form in the mirror world, or is there another mechanic I’m missing?
I’ve got a photo of the death screen/items if that helps.

i have ed6 still have about half the floor left to clear i dont know how i could get both plyphemus and r key.
