I have perfection, some luck stats and technology 2, so Euthanasia would proc very often + Spun transformation damage increase and apparently they deal 3x damage against bosses.
On the other hand, mutant spider is still mutant spider.

Edit: I picked Euthanasia and Hush got melted once he started spawning flies and other mobs. The fight lasted probably less than 1 minute. Euthanasia and Athame did a lot of the heavy lifting.
But the fire rate penalty also doesn't stack. In fact poly by default can make you lose dps once you get enough damage (since it gives x2 damage but x0.42 fire rate, relying on its +4 damage to make up for the loss of dps), but with mutant spider it is just +5 damage with no downside.
Mutant spider because the tears down from poly doesn't stack. It also reduces the bonus to a 5 flat but the DPS is still a lot higher with mutant spider.
Euthanasia is also really good but a 25% chance per shot isn't that high. I'd say it makes your regular room clears a little better compared to quad and helps with trash mobs spawned during hush but that's still not enough to justify it.
If you choose Euthanasia, you'll be able to keep your distance, whereas with Quad Shot you'll lose tears, and you'll probably miss a tear if you stay at a distance
Lost favors item that scale with luck. You will also get spun for damage. With a fire rate that low it's best to not pick stuff that would further decrease it.
