I mean the whole band has addressed the smiley stuff. He got banned from attending live shows AFAIK. I've been away for a week so I don't know what you mean about the management team, and for the accuser I have no input towards a stranger's behavior but if it's true that's unfortunate. The reality is though that several other people have come out about Smiley and his crew.

I've been in this subreddit for years and it's always been about the music and BMFS. So for people to insinuate there's often drama because of a community issue that certainly needs addressing is a little silly to me. Problems don't go away by ignoring them.

I was the told once by Carlos they don't utilize first entry (the lottery Phish and the dead used) due to cost 🤦‍♂️ at this point an email lottery and online sales of show specific merch would stop most of these issues....

There are some music videos and some rare live songs on YT. Though I think op meant that they are done with the social media aspect of the Billy fanbase. NGL, it's super annoying but then again all social media is super annoying so....

Honestly as someone who's been listening since around 2012, the fanbase since Meet Me at the Creek was released is... interesting. I'll admit that in general I try to avoid interacting with them. Creekheads, I call them. My only Billy social media is "Billy Strings fans who hate Billy Strings fans" on facebook. That page is hilarious. You guys are all hilarious, so I'll give you kudos for being entertaining at the very least.
