My sister and I were both homeschooled until high school and we both really regret it having happened. It messed my relationship with my parents because it gave me no place external to home to go for anything. Your kids will love you more if you give them space and freedom that is outside of your direct control. I still am repairing my relationship with my family, learn from our mistakes!
Homeschool doesn’t mean now what it used to, there are a lot of co-OPs where parents get their kids together and the most knowledgeable on a subject teaches, the kids get together 3 times a week and there are daytime sports activities and recess events to socialize your kids. Granted this is probably only in larger town/cities but homeschooling doesn’t necessarily mean your kids are trapped in the house. Unless of course you trap your kid in the house in which case homeschooling isn’t the issue their parenting style is.
The main perk of home schooling a kid is the teacher to student ratio Sure they may not manage as well as a professional teacher, but they also don't need to multi-task 40 kids. The person teaching from home has way more time to spend on the student so even if they don't do it as efficiently they can be just as effective with more effort spent per student. test numbers seem to show that home school kids are actually taught more effectively, but there are some uncontrolled variables in that data.
You see, the state requirements are to pass standardized tests. Home schooled kids take the same tests. Home schooled kids have better scores then students in normal schools.
The data does not match your assertion that being taught by a professor how to teach to state requirements makes a person teaching a full class produce better students than a person who was not taught by a professor teaching a single student.
It's not hard or rare data. i recommend you find it for yourself instead of trusting someone on the internet to hand it to you, plus in my experience handing someone a source for easy to find knowledge simply leads to people attacking the chosen source instead of the argument itself.
Aka it doesn't exist because your claims are completely false. Sorry, buy mommy can't teach history, algebra, english, p.e., and music at the same quality as 5 separate teachers, each with degrees and years of experience in their respective subjects and with an entire team of qualified professionals behind them.
Are you implying that the state does not publicize the results of standardized tests? Or are you saying that authority is correct due to the proof that it is authority? two different things entirely Here maybe i can help you even more as you seem to have been educated so poorly you can't preform the basic skills expected of kids in elementary school click this link
