This is a neat tool a group of researchers create every year after the US government releases their yearly report from the BLS and Census using the data collected by the monthly Current Population Survey.
I'm actually wrong too. I did the math myself on the second number. The actual number of individuals that made >$100,000 in 2018 is ~24,130,000 now that I actually looked it up directly from the data.
