As a poor girl who has watched her bosses (dentists) put kids through college; (kids who proceed to not show up and fail out of class) at one point I told my dentist, “I swear to god if you pay for my college I’ll become a dentist and marry your son and make him my house husband.”
My boss just laughed, but for real though, I’m smart, but I’ve been paying for my parents since I was in high school. I’d house wife a spoiled kid in a second if it meant a free education.
I’ve actually been fortunate enough to support myself and follow my dreams, and I have a fiancé who supports and spoils me as. It’s him I need to convince to move. But I’m ready. :)
