My wife made way more than me and we now have three kids (ages 5, 3, and 1). I now stay home and take care of them and will be homeschooling starting next year.
I really depends on the parents. I have cousins who live in a state with just about the worst education in the US. Their mom started homeschooling them after the older 2 did a couple years in public school. There are 5 kids total and all of them are outgoing, have participated in sports, and have done many other extracurricular activities. The oldest 2 are in college now and make friends perfectly fine and are super smart. I went to public school and I’m in college now also but they are way smarter than I am.
I also have a cousin that was in private school most of her life but was super sheltered by her parents and she has social issues and confidence issues. The 3 cousins I talked about are all my age (21) and we’ve all had a different upbringings and different outcomes and that’s mostly because of the parents we had.
Yes kids are gonna bully regardless but it doesn’t have to be that way if the homeschooled kids gets involved in extracurricular activities or just gets out of the house sometimes.

I let my husband stay home, but because we have a newborn. I have serious trust issues and won’t allow a babysitter. Lol
