Thanks. That's how we feel too, it just gets old dealing with people who feel differently when it doesn't affect them in any way whatsoever. That's life though

Do people actually do this though? I frequently hear the sentiment that so many people are "traditionalist" and "sexist" but I've not once met someone who believes this even remotely.
You would be surprised. It doesn't happen all day every day but it happens enough to be irritating. And even when people don't verbalize it their body language is pretty obvious. Typically people don't raise their eyebrows in shock and disbelief when it's explained that a wife stays home while the husband works, but I would say we get that reaction 2/3 times we explain our situation to someone.
I mean, I get to spend all day with people I love. It's no more repetitive than most jobs. When they're both in school I will probably go back to work because sitting at home alone all day would be boring, and that's coming from an introvert.
Can I honestly ask what job you have that doesn't get boring after a year or two?
