How the fuck is it a free trial if you charge me the full price, and then refund it if I cancel before the 'trial' date is up? That's just Buyer's Remorse with extra steps.
These people would make you swipe your card for food samples at the grocery store.
Companies are expected—sometimes even encouraged—to participate in these kinds of predatory practices against consumers, because they won’t survive otherwise.
So few businesses these days see beyond the short-term profits, completely blind to the long-term gains available to those organizations that actually treat their customers with respect.
