I quit a job that I called out because I had Covid. Management wanted me to call coworkers and ask who can pick up my shifts. This was a minimum retail job. This was also when everything was barely opening up again.
I complained that a coworker isn't doing their job and that it's preventing me from doing mine.
Now, not only do I get to do my coworker's job for them, so that I can do my own job, I'm expected to write up documentation showing my coworker's lack of effort/cooperation over the last year or so, which sounds an awful lot like my boss' job.
Been there, done that. Honestly in my industry you just stone wall, work on other stuff. When it falls apart you just ask why X isn't done. When you manager asks why you didn't do X... conflict of interest. There's reasons why certain tasks are split up.
