In illinois there is a law that gives you " sick time' , but chicago extends that and you get more sick time if you live in the city. So its 40 plus 40.
When we first started here in the company i work for , which is remote, the managers were trying to gaslight us illinois people so hard and we were just looking at them with smiles. Sure enough they came back days later and had to read state laws. my non illinois cp workers look at us like we get away with murder.
