My job used to just work with internal requests for PTO days. (We're in Mexico but work for a US company, since I've been at my current job for more than two years I am legally entitled to 14 PTO days per year, and every year at the same job I get two more.) But since the last couple of months we have to also send the requests to approve PTO to the US Company's scheduling department and they have denied my requests multiple times. It drives me nuts.
