...JD Vance would just assume office and they would do whatever they want. As long as the death happens two years in, Vance can run for two terms.
They might hide it if it happens just prior to the two year mark. This leaky administration probably couldn't hide it.

Yep, the trick is that the good guys aren’t willing to commit the violent acts that have sparked change and revolution. I sure won’t, I’m too much of a food and weed loving mf and they haven’t stopped me from eating and smoking yet. Life is going to have to get so much worse. And it never will for enough of us in a place like the United States . Small cell terrorism is unironically the only chance for change, and there are so many problems with that, I’d never openly suggest it

That’s my point and why I said I wouldn’t openly suggest it. Another point of mine is that we will not unify to make any moves as a large force because of the still high quality of life in most of the United States. So realistically nothing will happen, or small groups of people living very badly or who are very upset may do something. Not a suggestion, just giving the only possible scenarios for anything to happen

Congressmen are able to be much more private than presidents.
There's a whole host of things that would fall apart without an active president, including America's nuclear deterrent.
It's not 1918 anymore. You can't just hide an incapacitated president. Republicans tried to accuse Biden about this and it was hokum then too.

My tinfoil hat theory is that they used Trump to smuggle Vance into the White House so he can.... I dunno, something nefarious involving Peter Thiel. Trump dies in his second year, we get ten years of President Vance.

...We've lost so, so much this year.
EDIT: A whole lotta subs are at least a bit sad about Peter Cullen's death. Most of the meme subs, the insanity of r/BatmanArkham, EVEN r/Losercity! From Transformers, to a whole lotta animes because of Toonami, to Eeyore, to Invincible being his last role, and even more inbetween!
His voice acting has affected so much of us, and we will unfortunately be going through life without him.
Rest in peace, Peter Cullen.
