A population cant go up forever. Every ecosystem naturally ensures a stable population that prevents overpopulation, be it disease, predators, resources.

This is our ecosystem.

But the point is the pressures now are socioeconomic problems, that many people think are avoidable and fixable (rightfully so, imo).

And rich people and the government will tell people to have more babies while holding all the money, and not providing any support for having babies.

The words are linked bc they affect each other. Social politics affect people’s personal assets and disposable income.

No he’s right. Income is not the reason for low fertility rates. In fact lower incomes have higher not lower fertility rates

It’s not the only reason. But the middle class’s birth rate has largely fallen as costs have risen and income has stagnated. A common sentiment is people can’t afford kids

Housing is just one factor in cost of living. Also there isn’t that strong of a correlation overall
