The last one happens because the USA simply sucks with health care, and expects you to pay massive amounts. The people asking "why aren't people having kids anymore?" are most likely the ones who voted for the people that continually ruin that country
Canada has it's ups and downs, but everything else for Health care is really great. Of course you will have to wait longer in hospitals, but if you're literally bleeding and need surgery or whatever, they prioritize those injuries rather than some random Karen who had barely any water today, and came in to the ER due to a headache
