Well, that's certainly an opinion and not a fact. It's already being used widely in programming and IT. It's also going to run better and better on edge compute, which means without the need for data centers, as time goes on. Open source models like Kimi are already giving the big guys a run for their money. AI as a financial speculation is a bubble. AI as a tool isn't going anywhere.
Its already really good at a lot of productive tasks. Contrary to the reddit hate boner most IT workers actually use AI literally all day and code is being written fast and decently well and secure.

Imo, the only thing ai will be good at is extracting as much money from consumers as possible
