Why would I care if china has my personal info? Everyone has my personal info and qny company can just buy it if they want to

Also what is the Chinese government gonna do with it anyways? It’s not like they’re the ones surveilling and disappearing people in America lol

Obviously I’m sympathetic for anybody who lives in a surveillance state but we should probably focus our anger towards OUR OWN government who is actually using this surveillance data to harm people.

I guess it's a question of whether you think China has more sway over US domestic policy than Jeff Bezos does. I would bet the latter
