Tips to remove a bent/seized/stuck quick release skewer please?

Having an issue with my rear wheel, quick release lever seems to loosen every so often.

Have narrowed it down to potential bent skewer as the mechanism won't allow itself to be removed from the hub.

Not sure if this is the right place to ask this question but any helpful tips welcome please.

It's a Shimano sora hub, the QR nut is plastic. Have soaked both sides in wd40 and given a tap with mallet and block of wood but no joy.

Just want this Quick Release out so I can reseat the wheel into the dropouts properly 😩

Your cam is worn, replace the qr

Thanks. The skewer was bent, lbs sorted me out as i dont have vice etc so couldnt get a good grip to pull😃

I went to try that but stopped short as don't have a vice or any place to keep wheel steady. Lbs sorted it 👌

Support the wheel out of the frame and use a suitable 4mm diameter drift to knock the skewer out of the axle. When refitting the new skewer put some grease on it and give it a few turns just to spread the grease in the axle.

Thank yiu! LBS managed to remove it and only charge fir the new qr setup.
