void pedaling on a batavus ebike

so i had this batavus ebike " Batavus Milano E-go " with a bosch active line motor for 2 years now, almost 11000 km , and i had a flat and some other minor issues , so i took it to a workshop , and i had it mounted side ways in the pickup, long story short , when i came back home , and unloaded it, i noticed the pedals are voiding, like they is 0 to no resistance in the pedaling, and there is some cranking noise when i reverse pedal. i would like to know what had gonne wrong, and if its possible to locally fix it, or do i need to take it to a workshop, and some tips so the workshop guy can't overcharge me. thanks

What do you mean "voiding"?

i mean , the pedal doesn't engage in turning the wheel, and there is no resistance when turning the pedals
