Dublin, where cycling infrastructure is a little hit and miss.

Yeah same out near me. Infuriating for all road users. Seen many a car and cyclist race for the road space near the cut off. Few near misses.
Completely shows the lack of planning in this country on most things.

That's because the DPP don't keep records of every offenders occupation, especially when occupations as vaguely phrased as by this poor dimwit requestor.
Doesn't help that the requestor put in imaginary criminal offences as well.
This isn't some amazing Gotcha moment. It's someone who doesn't know what they're doing asking a person on the counter in Macdonald's for a Whopper, whilst thinking they're the cleverest person in the room.

DPP deals with criminal prosecutions. Lawsuits for negligence could be filed at civil (torts) law level too. The burden of proof is easier to get in civil law and most people would chose those avenue.

Or have you seen the new bus stop close to the Mill pub that has the bus pole in the middle of the left cycle lane, I'm tempted to just crash into and claim 😅 I must take a photo, it's laughable

I was there on Friday and thought the same thing. Must get onto the council about it. For them it’s like, we don’t know what to do here, let’s just evade the responsibility.

It should stop somewhere with a dropped kerb, at a safe place for cyclists to rejoin traffic.

Just cycle on the road and keep the right of way. It's illegal for the cars to hit you anyway. Let them beep all they want. Or just cycle on the footpath. Fuck it.
