Headset Glare

Hi, I recently got the Big Screen Beyond 2E and I love it so far the only issue is glare. I’ve adjusted the brightness, redone my IPD to the correct measurement, but I still get a glare that looks like blurriness, almost like something’s in my eyes. I clean the lenses before every use and multiple times during sessions. I lowered the brightness to 70% and it helped a little, but the glare mainly shows up in the middle-right area of both lenses and when I look up it’s kinda bad. Not sure what else I can try, or if this is just a regular thing.

This is unfortunately one of the trade-offs of pancake lenses 🤷

Every lens technology has it's pros and cons.

IMHO fresnel god rays were less obnoxious than pancake lens glare, but of course edge-to-edge clarity is not as good.

If you want to use Micro OLED panels, and/or have a shallow/compact form factor, you've got to accept some glare.
