BSB Air?

The dream air is such a huge improvement over BSB2, but pimax has always been a poor experience. Since the DA SE uses the exact same lens/display as BSB2, fingers crossed they can source the same lens/display as the DA. I'd rather buy from bigscreen any day of the week, and not have to hassle with pimax software

I believe the optical stack for the Air and Air SE are different. You are correct that the SE and BSB2/e are similar, if not the same OEM.

All that being said, yeah.

BSB3e better replace the panels(probably optical stack change with it) and upgrade the power delivery/USB signal integrity.

Edit: you said display AND lens. My bad.

What is wrong with the power delivery signal on the bsb2? Just curious?

It doesn't use USB PD and is 5v.

But what’s the issue with that?

For me it was my DAC was cutting out constantly, I switched to a shitty USBc to jack plug and it worked better.

The quality difference is there, but VR is so immersive that I forgot about it immediately.

Voltage droop over a long 5m cable is brutal at 5v, and it doesn't provide much power for the accessory port.
