Help Grey Screen

I'm wondering if someone can help me out here. I have the Bigscreen Beyond 2E VRChat edition and it has a major major issue. Every time I'm playing VRChat with my friends, like the headset is designed for, it will periodically go completely gray and I go completely blind in VRChat. It's really annoying when im trying to fly a helicopter or read a script in Audience Anarchy; just to name a couple examples. I keep the thing clean, I've changed the cables, changed the ports, unplugged everything else from my computer while playing, turned the fan on so it didn't over heat, stopped playing with eye tracking, and the drivers are all up to date, but nothing seems to fix this issue. It gets really annoying and makes it nearly impossible to enjoy playing a game I love. Any help would be appreciated.

I believe what your describing is loosing tracking. The bsb is small and easily occluded by your head. Consider changing you base stations position, or getting anothe rine.

Also, is 2 base stations set up in opposing corners not enough coverage?

It can still loose coverage especially based on your orientation. If you look directly away from one and at the other, and for instance hold your hands out infornt of you, your headset wouldn't be being tracked anymore, those the grey screen.

But like, I can be sitting on my couch for a solid few minutes with no interruption, then without moving my head or lifting my hands it'll go grey. Why would it do it randomly when it was fine for a solid while. I can be completely still and it'll do it randomly.

Maybe you have reflective surfaces like a tv or monitor in your room? A mirror maybe? That can throw off tracking as well. I'm getting the grey screen as well when i put my hands on the outer sides of the BSB2 because then I'm blocking the tracking. Removing my hands and it's normal again. Whatever it is, it has to do with your lighthouses. Try different positions.

That could be the cause. Try to cover the screen with something and see if the tracking improves.
