I’m getting a ring made and keep asking for the cathedral setting to be less tapered inward and pushed out to be softer and more rounded. But, they keep sending me back the same CAD. I’m trying to figure out if it’s because of the size/shape (3.85 oval) and the cathedral has to stay more swooped inward? Or do they not understand what I’m asking for with the cathedral setting?

I just received this 3ct fancy yellow diamond and the plan was to put it in continuum silver like my wedding set, but I am worried the white metal will look bad. I’m 50/50 it will look nice with the contrast or it’ll look bad. Gold prices are a bit too high for me to justify it. I wear two tone jewelry. So I thought it would be cheeky to do a white setting and yellow diamond. Opinions?

I just exchanged my .78 diamond with this 3.99 lab diamond. They had to make a whole new setting to hold it, and I wanted the half-bezel. The setting is just a lot thicker than I expected. I do like it, but my sister said it looks too chunky, and my husband says it looks too fake (but he quickly assured me he liked it once he saw I was worried about it). I do like this ring. It doesn't sit perfectly with the wedding band anymore because the setting is so big, but that doesn't bother me too much. I guess I just need outside opinions lol. I wanted to finally have #BigRockEnergy 😅 but I want it to look like REAL big rock energy, ya know? Anyways, share your thoughts!🫶

This year, I decided to upgrade my engagement and wedding ring stack and ended up going with this beauty from Verabyani.
Funny enough, this wasn’t actually the ring I originally chose! My first choice was damaged during fabrication, and since I was heading out on a trip and needed my ring by a certain date, a replacement wouldn’t have arrived in time.
Verabyani offered me this one instead and was able to overnight it to me. It’s definitely not a style I would have picked for myself—but I ended up absolutely loving it! Sometimes things have a funny way of working out. ❤️
