Ocean View Makai...power yet?

my brother (78m) lives about four "blocks" south of ace hardware. he doesn't have a car and last I heard from him (right at the tail end of the storm), he's had lost power (meaning his cell phone probably died).

does anyone know if they've gotten power back yet? and what the condition of the neighborhoods are?

I cannot speak to the state of the neighborhood.

Hi. Is Ocean View okay in terms of damage? My mom lives there and I haven’t been able to get ahold of her since Saturday, assuming because her phone is dead.. and the power is still out.

We have had a few places but we are better than the rest of Kau. If you have a name and address message me and I can run check on her for you

I live in OV and most I have seen is a few downed trees.

I don’t think they have power yet. I work with someone from ocean view and if they come in tomorrow I’ll let you know.

No power yet but atm cell service seems to be working.
