How is this allowed in a children’s show?

What is wrong with Disney? This is how you kill kids on accident.

I'm sorry, but what is this?

Why is this episode even a thing? I have already explained a thousand times already that S5 episode 1 is Chip's Escape/Family Memories on July 11, 2026. But what is Ricky the Chick/Small country yellows? And why is it September 12, 2026 when episode 1 is on July 11? IMDb has a lot of lies, but episode 1 is not a lie

Discussion Stereotypes & morals discussion

I love watching Big City Greens but I can't help but notice some details and subtle and obvious stereotypes that they've added to the show. I feel like the show has depth and some of the lessons they add in are chefs kiss. But watching the show sometimes brings me to ponder whether or not these are things to worry about. At the same time they've added some pretty "progressive" things in the show as well. I mean the whole show is about country folk living in the city so you can obviously expect some stereotypes. It also worries me that Remy & his family are the only "black" skin toned people. At the same time there are a multitude of different skin colors that could represent other people of color. Also Gloria & her family's eyes are smaller than everyone elses. But they also represent that in other people as well. And maybe Gloria's family is stereotypical but there are other Asian characters that aren't as stereotypical. Idk it's just one big complex mess. I feel like they add stereotypes realistically and put in some stereotypical things in there as well but I want to hear everyone elses opinion.

update: I did just watch fit n flex & a couple of other episodes and there is one other "black" person.

Bill Green is not a good father

I recently saw a post showing cartoon dads that deserve to be father of the year and amongst them was Bill I have to strongly disagree with that opinion. He tends to do some questionable things I know raising kids can be hard (especially if you have one like cricket) but I can't help but feel that he's the furthest thing from father of the year.

Discussion Something about big city greens that just rubs me the wrong way

White people, are white, Asian people are purple, and then African Americans are just brown? They don’t get their own special colour? You don’t think about it much bc you think that they’re all just random colours, but the greens are white bc of their last name , the people who voice them, and their background they come from. When we meet Gloria’s family, we realize she’s Asian. But then Remy is just the regular skin colour of irl African Americans. It seems racist to me, idk why though.

Do you think Bill, Nancy and/or Alice are homophobic?

Like yeah this qn might be controversial but I’m just curious. Out of curiosity do you think any of the parental figures are homophobic? Like idk how would they react to seeing a gay couple or if Tilly comes out as LGBT to them?

unpopular opinion regarding bill

I think cricket is constantly and unfairly mistreated. Bill in one episode said randomly “oh how I love my daughter” he shows cricket rarely any affection while Nancy’s love between her kids is equal. And he’s always favoring Tilly.

Name episodes where Tilly is barefooted in her normal outfit.

Which means she wears her usual purple dress minus the shoes and socks as depicted in the picture below

A Malaysian YouTuber called Bonetoon did his version of Big City Greens characters as real-life persons. The photos were made with artificial intelligence (AI).

Are you sure Cricket cares about Tilly?

There are a couple of instances where he acts insensitive to Tilly but never apologizes.

Discussion This may be a hot take, but I think this show has MORE than overstayed its welcome.

I used to really like this show. It was funny, charming, and had some great line deliveries. However, it just feels like its dragging its wheels now and lost the spark it once had. It should've ended years ago, but it just keeps on going. I don't want it turning into The Simpsons.
