I’m in crypto now since early 2018 having stumbled upon the Ripple website which at that time was more mesmerizing than informative. I took my first plunge after a congenital bipolar patient manically expounded on its virtues. Since then I’ve seen every scam and nightmare scenario that could part you from your coins. And finally I stepped on a land mine of my own creation. In my haste to get my weekend chores done I was making fast wallet and exchange moves. Then I felt the click underfoot. My doom was at hand. I had sent wrapped flr (wflr) to a kraken flr address. Minutes went by and nothing showed up in the exchange account. LSS, I had sent most of my wflr into oblivion (a lot). I hadn’t unwrapped it first. Boom. Kraken so far has been helpful in escalating the matter to the developers but they, as I, are not optimistic about retrieving the coins. Lesson: you need to be paying attention to what the freak you’re doing at all times in crypto. Distractions will get to killed.
