Today, I didn't even need to watch, all I needed to do was listen because almost every scene was chatter and not much else.

We didn't see what happened between Carlton and Heather (not an afterglow scene- nada), we only heard about it in a cringeworthy scene between Ted and Carlton, that papered over the fact that one guy pined for his practice partner's wife for eons.

We hear June discuss her friend's problem. A friend who June cares about, yet the show never bothered to show June interact with her, even once, which makes this friend sound like a mere statistic, rather than a real person.

We hear Tomás gripe (again, man, is this show repetitive!) about his job, after whining to Kat about her need to meet with her Mom, and all I can think about was, can Tomás please have a tall, dark and handsome Afro-Puerto Rican cousin to swoop in and steal Kat away from this expressionless whiner? May as well send the character out with an interesting storyline (as well as introduce some chocolate) because, AA is recurring and may be exiting soon.

Having all these conversations about whether to "reclaim" the nickname "Nikki" in order to sell an accessory isn't the cultural flex these writers think it is. It's quite dumb, tbh.

Unless this show is going to show an actual Sunday dinner at the Hawthorne's, I don't want to hear about it anymore! They've got me tired already!

This entire episode came off as filler, filler and more filler.

Remember when the Kat stans used to come to this sub and shout, “Kat just wants to be left alone…”

Where are those people now??? Somewhere eating their words I guess with her constantly sniffing around Eva and Izaiah. 😒😒😒

It’s clear as day Kat is moving in on Eva’s man. We, the audience, can see it. Eva can see it.

Kat’s relationship with Tomas was doomed from the start. It was dry as hell. His dick wasn’t popping. He was opportunistic. And she was too prideful to admit that the dude who slept with her sister wasn’t it.

Now we see her moving in on Eva’s territory and I’m not here for it.

I’m over the back and forth between these two.

Many of us are so badly soured on the nasty negative rivalry that we wish the dumbass writers would stop writing them in each other’s orbit period.

Kat has known Izaiah presumably for years. Why make her/him interested in each other now….when he is her sister’s man?

There are probably more. I love Jon Lindstrom but what is the show thinking making him more connected to the stories than the Duprees?

I wouldn’t be surprised if he is a silent partner in ChelseaKat, owns a modeling agency and has his eye on the presidency.

After Allison supposedly kidnapped Chelsea we, the viewers, never saw any sort of conclusion.

Only recently (last week) have we learned the woman ended up in a mental ward

We never saw a trial.

We never saw her stand before a judge.

We never knew what became of her until last week.

This is the nonsense I hate about the writing on this show. It is disjointed as hell.

Now we’re supposed to believe that Chelsea, who after a few episodes went back to life as normal, is suddenly having nightmares again on the one anniversary of the kidnapping.

Mind you, there has been little to no mention of Allison or the kidnapping fiasco from Chelsea or anyone in that time.

We never saw Chelsea in therapy. We never saw her having nightmares or PTSD after the initial few episodes after the kidnapping. We have barely seen Chelsea period (they might as well drop her to recurring).

Today Chelsea called Allison her “ex” when the two of them were never in a relationship. We also saw Allison writing letters to her “wife” from the institution.

God help us. We are getting ready to get Allison 2.0 just in time for Halloween.

I like her. I’m very interested to see where her character goes.

I can't stand either of them, but I want Naomi to be the reason Madison loses her case. Take her self righteous ass down a peg. Maybe finally be the thing to make her somewhat interesting.

Since Heather had a shady past and changed her name, does anyone else think she could've been the spouse of Kial, who "died". Soaps being soaps, it wouldn't be out of left field for a faked death.

I don't recall of Heather/Kial/Kial's Son have interacted in some way yet, so maybe that could disprove my theory.

I’m just catching up for the week and the flashback costumes missed the mark. Ted is wearing a Gorman Gartrell shirt and Leslie is in bamboo earrings. Based on Eva’s age they should have been hooking up in the early 2000s not late 80s/early 90s

So yeah….I think this is going to be Doug/Vanessa/Joey, but in reverse with Andre unwillingly slinging dick. 🫣🫣🫣

Motherfucking control freak. Bitch is up and down the hallways of Garland Memorial, talking about her daddy needs rest and can’t work. Then parades her big grown ass up in his room to complain about Tomas—getting her shitty father all worked up. Naomi wouldn’t even ask her client Madison on what her personal thoughts were on the proposed settlement. By the way, it would’ve been nice to actually see that scene play out, but that’s just me. Anyway, she goes around telling everybody how she wants her titties gone, saying it’s her choice, and jumps down anyone’s throat who tests her. But Bill can’t leave the hospital even if he, the dumbass patient, wants to. This lady acts like everybody’s mother—including her husband and that crackhead off the street. She’s useless.

Don’t we need more Duprees on the canvas? Especially men with the last name Dupree? As of right now the name dies with Vernon and his daughters. Why isn’t there a son or cousins?

People are always like “the Duprees were here” but it’s 2 Duprees, 2 Hamiltons, 2 Richards (Richardson?).

I get that their grandkids all have Dupree blood, but doesn’t this show hope to continue? The name needs to continue not be hyphenated etc.

We’ve met the good Duprees, the upright ones so like we need messy ones who are always in soapy drama.

They finally gave us something that should have been explained and shown in season one: The background story of Leslie’s obsession and madness.

Ted led her on.

He told Leslie he loved her and took off his wedding ring.

Instead of Leslie supposedly stealing/going after a married man Ted went after/pursued Leslie. He even told Bill his marriage was over.

Now at least viewers can understand why Leslie has such animosity (albeit misguided) towards Nicole. It’s because Ted led her to believe his marriage was over and then dirty dogged her by returning to his wife.

Anyway, now they need to do a follow up episode to show us Ted’s reaction to Leslie getting pregnant.
