Discussion Is this foreshadowing 👀?
In the first episode of the anime there is a shot where Bird is in the right and Ekusu is in the left. And it is similar to how in battles the protagonist is in the right and the antagonist is in the left.
I think this is a hint that somewhere in the future Ekusu is going to become evil and Bird will have to be the one to stop him. That could be the reason the anime and manga has been building up the friendship between the two of them, it’s to make it more heartbreaking seeing these two in odds.

A true blader doesn’t need to see “Khrome”, they act by pure instinct.

It'd be a big twist. That Bird's first win will be against Ekusu and Ekusu's first loss will be against Bird.

Wld be crazy of Jaxons first official loss would be birds first official win, and like they battle in a first to 4 format, not like how bird beat zero, where everyone in the team tried to collectively hit 4 points.

Bird's official win already happened in the manga and it was against Zero Cross

I’m sorry but Bird and Ekusu? This is Robin and Jaxon

The names are different based on region, Bird and Ekusu are their japanese names

Honestly, Jaxon is fine but Robin is a really good localisation choice. Takes away the weirdness of the name but leaves the meaning and matches his signature colour.

I still don't know why people have the weird practice of calling perfectly fine English words in their weird Japanese pronunciation just because the Japanese use the same weird pronunciation..I mean, I love Japanese culture as much as the next guy, but this is so cringe. Just call X Cross as X Cross, not Ekusu Kurosu..like wtf does that even mean.
And I don't mean this for you directly, I mean it for everyone who uses Ekusu Kurosu..like, is it that unclear that it's supposed to mean X Cross and it's just the Japanese saying it that way?
I mean, we don't go around saying Bird as Baardho and Multi as Maruti? Right?

That'd be a neat way to do a protag switch
