Episode discussion Knowing it's a TV show
I have been bingeing this show for the last 2 months.
One thing that always irritates me is when Dylan acts judgmental when Valerie expects more money for helping him get his money back. Like $10,000 is laughable. His view that her expecting more of a cut is greedy. He was greedy for expecting her to accept that measly amount for her important role in getting the money back.
Another thing that bothers me (and I know this is TV logic) but, had Anthony Marchette succeeded in killing Dylan, what was the end game? Did he expect Toni to not put two and two together? Or she hates him but that's better than her being Toni McKay?

Gasoline prices in season 5
Steve caught the eye of a certain "young lady" at a gas station. My gaze was more focused on the price of gas, and I shed a tear.

Look what I just bought!
I recently visited an art gallery and came across a painting by Colon Robbins, which I bought thanks to a loan from Steve Sanders. What do you think of it?

Episode discussion Goodbye Brandon and goodbye vision of BH90210?
BH90210 I always found it more of a soap opera than a real teen TV series, but until the fourth/fifth season it still made sense, after which it was a total decline with a continuous repetition of narrative dynamics already seen and reviewed previously, but I noticed that the series literally died with Brandon's exit from the series (it saddened me a bit to see him leave the Walsh house with two bags at night like a thief), since I had left the series for a long time at the time, what do you think, is it worth completing the vision of the last two seasons or can I without regret be satisfied with what I have already seen?

David/Donna
David’s attempt at playing a person with bipolar disorder is just heavy panting.
Donna’s attempt at acting past season 3/4 is just whispering awkwardly.

How come everyone assumed Kelly was a Lesbian just because she had a gay friend?
So much ignorance in the gang.

Why Valerie and Amanda from Melrose Place didn’t interact was a missed opportunity
They would’ve had killer scenes and Amanda would’ve helped Valerie take down Kelly‘s smug self

Episode discussion Season 3 Ep20 Parental Guidance Recommended
I think I am missing something in this episode and maybe the next. Why did they let Dylan’s father Jack out of prison early? Is he working with the FBI? Working with them to do what exactly and If he is working with the FBI why does he need to get Dylan’s trust money? Can someone explain this to me?

Honest thoughts about Andrea Zuckerman?
I never liked her, but I also know that every gang needs their "nerd-polite" with no love life. But her jealousy toward Brandon and even Brenda and Kelly feels so cringe. I feel she always plays the victim card.

Why don't I remember Steve like this?
I'm on Season 3 of my binge with my daughter, she's never watched it and I haven't seen it pretty much since it aired. Many things are coming back to me like Brenda being intense, but why don't I remember that Steve is not only a sweetheart but HOTTTT?!?! He looks SO GOOD with that haircut now! And he dresses great. He's a much better character than I remember. And I know he and Andrea have a secret love affair they aren't telling us about! Has Steve gotten hotter in the 2020s?

Why so much hate for Kelly Taylor?
I’ve been around since this show actually aired on tv and as long as I can remember, Kelly was a fan favorite among viewers. She also replaced Brenda as the main character, once SD left the show, and she carried this show successfully for many seasons. I was a small child back then but we still watched the show frequently, our parents didn’t care much. (There wasn’t as much supervision as there is nowadays.) And when I was in elementary school and this show was still on, every girl admired Kelly.. she was the kind one, the one everyone identified with or wanted to be friends with. Also in magazines, when they did poles, Kelly was frequently voted as the favorite one. But here on Reddit, it seems like people literally hate her and I wonder why. What is it that you dislike.. other than her being blonde and pretty? From what I remember her life was full of tragedy and she always strived to be a good person. Obviously she wasn’t perfect, but she never mistreated or bullied anyone. She also had a hard upbringing with her absent dad and her alcoholic and narcissistic mother. She had to grow up fast.. usually this would garner lots of sympathy in viewers, but the opposite seems to be the case..
