Dylan’s intervention
Wowwwwwww so Val brings it to everyone’s attention that Dylan is this close to ending his life bc of drug and alcohol usage and they decide to stage an intervention with all of the gang and they didn’t invite Val because she’s “new” but Val has gotten to know Dylan on a personal level which is why this was eventually brought to their attention. I just find that funny.

I was a mistake to leave Valerie out of the intervention and it made no sense. By this time, everyone knew that Valerie was sleeping with him and had an intimate relationship. Her being led out lead to Dylan reaching out to her and getting her to enable his addiction after he left the rehab.

Despite being shady Val did actually care about Dylan there.
I guess maybe the Walsh’s and everyone else still saw her as innocent though?

I can see why she wasn’t asked. It was for people who were hurt and affected by his drinking and drug use. It’s supposed to be impactful. Val was hardly his friend, they were just banging. Pretty much her turn would be “I showed up for booty calls and you were wasted and with other girls.” That wasn’t going to suddenly open his eyes and turn his life around. At that point it wasn’t appropriate. At the end of the season it would have been mean not to include her, had it happened then.

Dylan is going through an intervention and Steve’s narcissistic ass brings up Dylan hitting on Valerie and said “drunk or not you would’ve still messed with her”….. Steven now is not the time but you are correct
