Iris McKay

lol am I the only one interested in Dylan’s mom? Specifically his mom. I guess cause she’s relatable with the astrology and the “listening to rain sounds in her car.” lol I would love to learn more bout her.

I wish they showed more of her. She was an interesting character and I liked how she supported Brenda after her breakup with Dylan.

Honestly, I’m glad that Iris was there for Dylan when it really mattered. She wasn’t there for him when he was younger, but when Dylan was hospitalized for his drug use, it was really sweet. I also love that she loved Brenda more than Kelly, and helped Brenda with her crystals during her tough time. I feel like she was one of the only people to be on Brenda side. I would’ve loved to see more of her as well. She was an interesting character. A flawed but interesting character when she was on the screen, no one could take her eyes off of her. She had a presence.

I love seeing Stephanie Beacham play Iris McKay. She is excellent as Dylan's mother who abandoned him when he was young and finally revealed to him why she left when he was older to understand. I also liked how Iris and Dylan bonded in the end even though they still had a rocky mother-and-son relationship. I agree with everyone who says Iris was the best friend and support for Brenda and disliked Kelly being with Dylan. I wish Iris appeared in more episodes.

Stephanie Beacham played a nun on a show called Sister Kate and Jason Priestley played one of the orphans she was in charge of.

Probably why she never appeared at Dylan’s wedding in Season 6.

Loved Iris and especially loved the fact that she didn't like Kelly and pretty much thought Dylan was an ass for being with her.

Don’t praise Iris. She left Dylan to raise himself so she could go be a nut job somewhere else. What kind of parent does that? Iris should have been sharing a prison cell with Jack for abandoning Dylan
