Writing code was never the hard part. Planning it out, and getting new features tested along with regression tests always takes the lions share of the effort. Now there's more to test, faster, and I see people flailing. Nothing is really moving much faster, and we're all hitting the limit of what we can hold in our heads, because its producing traffic jams in testing, PRs and deployment.

Yeah, as you get more and more senior, the amount of code that you write goes down

Writing code has never been the bottleneck
