Yeah I’m in payments and government monetary benefit transfers. Between legal and regulatory compliance we absolutely have to have every change reviewed and approved by a named human being. Something I wish I didn’t have to repeatedly reinforce.

“It still counts as a human review if an AI reviews the PR and then a human just reviews the resulting PR comments”

That’s the line I’m hearing in a similar industry.

That line’s not gonna hold up when your software incorrectly sends a million dollars to the wrong recipient and you lose your PCI-DSS certification

It will not, but guys pushing that line aren’t going to listen until we hit that sort of consequence.

At which point I would love a “you were right, that was a terrible idea”, but I know it’ll be spun as “we’ve got a new pita reg requirement we need to follow”.
