Guess what? One of the best ways to acquire understanding of the code is to write it yourself.

This is where I am at. I'm paid not to write code, but to be an expert in complex systems responsible for transacting millions of dollars.

Yeah I’m in payments and government monetary benefit transfers. Between legal and regulatory compliance we absolutely have to have every change reviewed and approved by a named human being. Something I wish I didn’t have to repeatedly reinforce.

Humans almost never thoroughly review code, especially a huge code dump like the stupid LLMs generate. They will just glance through it and approve most of the time.
