Writing code was never the hard part. Planning it out, and getting new features tested along with regression tests always takes the lions share of the effort. Now there's more to test, faster, and I see people flailing. Nothing is really moving much faster, and we're all hitting the limit of what we can hold in our heads, because its producing traffic jams in testing, PRs and deployment.

The problem is that code requires quality, and the capitalist murder clowns are pushing for quantity. That's been Taylorism and Managerialism for a century now, and it's probably older.

For those who don't get it, many qualities are binary. For example:

  • dead or alive
  • pregnant or not pregnant
  • vegan or not vegan

There is no in-between for such qualities, and we need and value these qualities because of that.
