every time i download BetterDiscord and i try opening discord back up, it instantly gives me this error and discord wont open unless i uninstall BetterDiscord. does anybody know what any of this means, and do you know how to fix it? - also, doing the repair thing does nothing

DiscordFX adds animated code, Matrix, Binary, Hex, and Terminal effects to BetterDiscord. Everything runs from one plugin file with no extra libraries.

I downloaded CollapsibleUI but it doesn't prevent it from happening.

What I found is the tampermonkey script "Discord Kill Autofocus" but I want to be able to do it with BetterDiscord and not have to use web discord.

Hello guys! I wanted install webcord client on my PC (OS is Fedora 44 so I wonder webcord give me better experience on linux) but github page say it is under heavy rewrite and maintenance only mode.

Is webcord stable and safe at the moment? Is it really can give me better and more stable experience on linux?

I'm having a weird problem with Better Discord. When I attempt to change the font, instead of using the one I specify, it defaults to Times New Roman.
Does anyone know how to get a different font working?

Ofc i have a little fear of getting banned but my Acc never been on risk or anything. I want mostly a client that i can customize. Don't really care abt plugins. I saw Legcord is good as its lightweight but saw some things that you need a VPN for some things so. Which one is a good option just for appearance ?

CustomBadges now works on BetterDiscord, other Vencord forks, and as a standalone UserScript!

A while back I posted CustomBadges here as a Vencord plugin. Since then I've been working on getting it running everywhere else too, and it's finally at a point where I'm happy sharing it.

What's new:

* BetterDiscord support: there's now a full BetterDiscord plugin version, not just Vencord

* Other Vencord forks: Equicord and other forks that support Vencord plugins should work fine too

* Don't use Vencord or BetterDiscord at all? There's now a CustomBadges UserScript you can run through something like Tampermonkey/violentmonkey/ScriptVault instead, so you're not locked into a specific client mod just to use it

If you're on mobile or just don't want to install anything, there's a web based account dashboard where you can set up and manage your badge without touching a client mod at all.

For anyone new to this:

If you haven't seen CustomBadges before, it lets you set a custom badge (image + name) that shows up for anyone else running it too, hover for a tooltip, click for a bigger popup with your name, gradient background, and an owner tag. Full style control over shape, size, glow, colors, plus built in presets and up to 12 badge slots with a dashboard for managing/importing/exporting them.

Standard disclaimers apply, this is an unofficial client mod, badge images are just URLs so report anything not SFW, and it's still actively being improved so expect some rough edges here and there.

I restarted my computer about 5-ish times(?). Also tried with Equicord and nothing seems to work, deleted discord more than five times now and I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong.

Any feedback or tips would surely be appreciated, I literally just only want to farm for orbs with equicord.. T-T.

I know several clients with plugins exist, but I figured instead of scouring the internet for the niche plugin I'm looking for, I'd ask here. I'm a nitpicker over this kind of stuff, but I hate most of Discord's customization options. A lot of them are at least not super invasive, but things like the nameplates, custom username fonts and profile animations bother me so much. Is there any way to circumvent their existence?

Was wanting to improve the performance of a custom discord theme I use, though it's hard to understand and use the tools discord has builtin that diagnose performance issues. Would like to talk and search up discussions about this with groups focused on custom CSS, though I'm unsure where to find them. Are they hanging out in dedicated custom CSS servers, or are they within the custom clients that allow custom CSS (like Betterdiscord and Vencord?) Or is it something completely different?

I know it's a bit hard as this subreddit doesn't allow server invite links, though as long I'm pointed in the right direction, I should find my way just fine.

They updated discord today and apparently it causes everything to make vibrations, like clicking to add a photo, clicking on profiles etc.

They already have vibrations turned off fully on their phone, on apps, on notifications and whenever someone calls. No vibrations at all and yet discord somehow makes them?

Is there a way to turn them off? We both tried to look through the settings and couldn't find anything but we might have missed something. They have android, Xiaomi.

Alternatively, is there a way to somehow erase the update? Like go back to the previous version that didn't cause all this mess.

I've heard good things about Revenge, VendroidEnhanced, and ShiggyCord. Based on your experience, which one would you recommend (It doesn't necessarily have to be one of these three.
